InsurTech Send appoints Chief People Officer

30 January 2023 – Leading InsurTech Send Technology Solutions Ltd (Send) has appointed its first Chief People Officer, Pat Caldwell, as it embarks on the next stage of its growth following a 2022 Series A funding round.

In the newly created role, Pat will have oversight of all recruitment, talent development and employee experience and be responsible for ensuring the people and culture agenda supports Send’s ambitious business objectives.

Pat has been instrumental in leading the talent development of several early-stage SaaS businesses looking to scale-up, including Metomic and FundApps, where he oversaw their transformation into a certified B-Corp and was ranked as a global top 100 LGBT+ executive in 2021.  He is also a non-executive director and board member at ImpactEd, a social enterprise that supports schools and educational groups.

Send co-founder and CEO Andy Moss said:We see our people as our biggest strength and want to attract the best and brightest talent in our industry.  Pat has exceptional experience and passion in this area and has helped many young businesses to lay solid foundations for growth and talent development.  We’re really excited to work with Pat to shape Send and create a unique, rewarding and caring workplace for our people.”

Pat Caldwell added:

“Send has an exceptional product that genuinely makes a difference to its customers. Very few SaaS companies find the level of traction Send has at such an early stage, with a leadership team that wants to do good and create an awesome culture. I’m excited to support the company’s growth as it expands to new territories and continues to attract and develop leading industry talent.”

Send also recently announced its first US hire, VP of Marketing, North America, Charlie Riley, who will lead Send’s growth drive in North America.
