Martin Olley joins Send as Chief Commercial Officer

3rd June 2021 – Send, a leading innovator of commercial insurance software solutions, has appointed Martin Olley as Chief Commercial Officer as the business continues to rapidly expand its operations in the UK and abroad.

Martin has over 30 years’ experience in commercial insurance across the Lloyd’s, Company and international markets in a range of IT and sales roles where he developed deep industry expertise and insights into how to innovate and optimise insurance systems. Most recently, Martin was Head of Product Sales at Sequel and prior to that, Sales Director at Xuber. He has also held senior roles at QBE and Marsh.

As Send continues to scale-up, attracting new clients from the UK and global markets, Martin will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and developing a strong market presence.

Matt McGrillis, Send CTO & co-founder commented:

“Attracting someone of Martin’s calibre demonstrates that Send is fast becoming a force to be reckoned with in the commercial insurance SaaS space. Over the past four years we have grown significantly as an insurtech leader and Martin will be instrumental in driving the direction of our sales activities, helping us to develop new opportunities in wider markets.”

Martin added:

“I am really excited to join the Send team and give back to the industry I love. Send has developed a truly game-changing commercial insurance platform, I was blown away when I first saw it. The connected workbench addresses so many business problems that insurance companies still face, from start-up to enterprise level. And building on the success of implementations in both the UK and US markets, we can really put Send on the map as a global insurtech leader.”
