Send appoints new Head of Business Strategy and Customer Success

23 April 2024 - Leading InsurTech Send Technology Solutions Ltd (Send) has appointed William Harnett as its Head of Business Strategy and Customer Success.

William has spent the past twenty years at AXIS Capital where he was the Deputy Chief Operating Officer / Digital COO, working with AXIS’ underwriters to spearhead the business’s digital transformation.

During his career at AXIS, William worked closely with underwriting, claims and technology teams to help them optimise their existing processes and smoothly integrate new systems and providers.

In this role, created to support Send’s continued international growth, William will bring his experiences at AXIS to Send’s customers. He will help them to address their biggest pain points and barriers to innovation, their digital targets and existing processes to support them in their underwriting evolution.

Commenting on this new appointment, co-founder and CEO Andy Moss said:

“William is perfectly positioned to support our customers in their digital transformation journey. He’s been in their shoes, he understands their challenges and knows that any new solution must demonstrate a good return on investment for all stakeholders. I’m confident that William’s deep experience and first-hand knowledge of the challenges insurers face will bring a new dimension to our support for customers and their ability to seamlessly integrate our award-winning Underwriting Workbench”.

William added:

“Send is primed to be at the forefront of insurance operating models, and they’re delivering tangible value to their customers right now. They truly understand what customers need, and I know they go above and beyond to deliver solutions that meet those needs. They have experienced phenomenal growth and I’m excited to be part of their journey.”
