Securing the next milestone: Send achieves ISO 27001 accreditation
23 May 2022: Leading UK InsurTech Send Technology Solutions Ltd (Send) is proud to announce it has received ISO 27001 accreditation, the standard internationally agreed upon by experts as representing the benchmark for information security.
ISO 27001 specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system within the context of the organisation.
The recent ISO assessment revealed full conformity with agreed standards, and highlighted the following areas in which Send demonstrated excellent results:
- Supplier relationship management
- Comprehensive risk assessment process
- HR security
- Analysis of data and reporting structures
Send’s co-founder and CEO Ben Huckel commented:
“To receive ISO 27001 as a young business is an excellent achievement, and demonstrates the importance we place on developing and maintaining strong, secure systems as we continue to scale-up and handle ever more client data.
This successful accreditation is the result of 12 months of rigorous testing and refinement, and the hard work and commitment of our team.”
Send’s Head of Operations, Naynesh Patel was the driving force behind the extensive assessment process, he commented:
“We are committed to upholding the highest data security standards. Having this certification will help us to attract and retain new business, but more importantly, it enables us to support our clients’ risk management processes, mitigating the risk of data breaches and regulatory action.”
