Send joins International Underwriting Association 

3 December 2024 – Leading InsurTech, Send Technology Solutions Ltd (Send) has joined the International Underwriting Association (IUA), the representative body for companies in London providing international and wholesale insurance and reinsurance coverage. 

By joining the IUA, Send hopes to get even closer to the international (re)insurance community the IUA serves and develop a deeper understanding of the biggest challenges facing today’s underwriters. 

One of the IUA’s stated objectives is to drive market modernisation initiatives and promote the design and implementation of modern processes and electronic interfaces. As a member of the Association, Send will play an increasingly active role in supporting these initiatives in the London and Lloyd’s markets.

One of Send’s first initiatives will be to explain to IUA members the five stages of the Underwriting Maturity Framework and help underwriters map where their organisation sits.
