Send joins the MGAA

22nd June 2022 - Leading UK InsurTech, Send Technology Solutions Ltd (Send) is pleased to announce that it has joined the Managing General Agents’ Association (MGAA) – the trade association dedicated to representing the interests of MGAs across the UK.

Send recognises that to thrive in today’s competitive market, MGAs must offer high levels of operational resilience, provide coherent, valuable data to their capacity providers and be able to onboard and launch new business lines and products quickly.

Ben Huckel, Co-founder and CEO of Send commented:

“MGAs today face a number of underwriting challenges; from dealing with siloed data streams, endless spreadsheets and incoherent workflows, to manually re-keying data into multiple systems. We want to offer MGAs a new way to transact commercial insurance.

As a member of the MGAA, we are looking forward to the opportunity to help underwriters rediscover the art of underwriting, with a single platform for managing new business, renewals and endorsements - one system from submission to bind, and beyond.”

The business successfully launched its Underwriting Workbench for MGAs earlier this year and has recently announced a significant new strategic partnership with global multi-line specialty insurance provider, Thomas Miller Specialty.

Danielle Champion, CEO of Thomas Miller Specialty said:

“The Send Underwriting Workbench provides a joined-up, end-to-end underwriting system across the entire lifecycle. Send’s technology solution and the company is a great fit for Thomas Miller Specialty and the partnership will further cement Thomas Miller Specialty as one of the most forward looking and technologically advanced MGAs in the market.”

Send is present at the MGAA’s annual conference on Wednesday 29th June 2022 in London – contact the team to arrange a meeting.
