Send podcast: The one-stop shop for managing insurance submissions

Following the success of Ben Huckle’s appearance on the InsTech podcast in 2022, it’s now the turn of CEO and co-founder Andy Moss in the hot seat, providing a fascinating update on the Send story so far.

Andy gives his take on a range of issues, from explaining the difference between low and no-code and what that means in reality for customers, to the buying decisions that Send’s customers take when choosing the underwriting workbench, what they are looking for and what features they need the most.

He also lifts the lid on some upcoming advancements Send is offering the market, such as the new Smart Submission product; explaining how it automates and organises unstructured data to simplify the underwriting process and speed up submission-to-quote ratios.

Generative AI applications such as ChatGPT have been spoken and written about widely recently. In the podcast, Andy explains how the Send platform ‘talks’ to ChatGPT, what this means for users and how we’re just scratching the surface of the benefits Gen AI can bring.

Andy also talks about; Send’s latest funding raise and how he and his co-founders are using this investment to grow the business; building out a team in North America; working with new customers and integrating with pricing platforms and policy administration systems.
